Internal guidance statement – not a formal policy under the Workplace Gender Equality Act.
Spectrum Networks is committed to providing a fair, respectful, and inclusive workplace for all team members, regardless of gender, gender identity, or expression. While Spectrum Networks is not currently required to report under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth), we choose to support and align with its underlying principles.
The purpose of this statement is to outline Spectrum Networks’ general stance on gender equality in the workplace. It is intended as a practical guide for behaviour and decision-making, rather than a prescriptive or legislated policy.
This statement applies to all Spectrum Networks staff, contractors, and directors, and should be read alongside our broader workplace, conduct, and HR guidance.
In support of gender equality, Spectrum Networks aims to:
All team members are expected to contribute to an environment where:
Any staff member who feels they have experienced or observed gender-based discrimination, harassment, or unfair treatment is encouraged to raise the issue with their manager or a director. Concerns will be taken seriously and handled as discreetly as practicable, in line with our general complaints and grievance handling practices.
This statement may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, organisational structure, or applicable legislation. Any significant updates will be communicated to staff via the internal wiki or other appropriate channels.
