This page provides Spectrum Networks’ public register for major outages and significant local outages, in line with applicable telecommunications outage communication requirements.
Under the Telecommunications Industry Standard 2024 – Customer Communications for Outages, providers may be required to maintain a publicly available outage register covering unplanned events affecting more than 100,000 services, or significant local outages lasting at least 60 minutes, including significant local outages affecting regional areas.
Spectrum Networks is a boutique business-focused telecommunications provider. In practice, the scale thresholds for major outages are unlikely to apply to the Spectrum network. The primary condition likely to be relevant is an outage of at least 60 minutes affecting a specific local area or state.
The purpose of this page is to provide a public-facing register to support compliance with government outage communication obligations, while also directing customers to Spectrum Networks’ standard incident and service status communication channels.
This register applies to unplanned outages that meet the relevant reporting thresholds for major outages or significant local outages under the applicable industry standard and associated variation.
